Double homicide investigation in Hillsboro



The Washington Co. Sheriff’s Office says the suspect died at the hospital from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

HILLSBORO, Ore. — The Washington Co. Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide that happened Wednesday night at a home in Hillsboro.

Deputies arrived on scene around 8 p.m. Wednesday night in the 23000 block of Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and found two people dead. Deputies also located the suspect, who was suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The suspect was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

The sheriff’s office says the investigation is ongoing and plan to release more details later today.
